Education Division

The Education Division recognizes the critical link between education and mental health. By equipping teachers, students, and communities with the necessary knowledge, MEF fosters an environment where mental well-being is prioritized. This division operates under five main initiatives:

  • Mental Health Integration in Schools:
We work with education ministries and institutions to develop curriculums that incorporate mental health topics. This includes teaching students about emotional resilience, stress management, and how to support peers struggling with mental health challenges.

  • Psychosocial Support Training for Educators:
Teachers play a vital role in students’ mental well-being. MEF provides training for educators to help them recognize and address mental health issues among their students. They are equipped with skills to create supportive classroom environments and refer students for further care when needed.

  • Vocational & Alternative Learning Programs:
For students who struggle with traditional education systems, we offer alternative learning opportunities focused on vocational training. These programs equip youth with skills such as carpentry, ICT, tailoring, and crafts-making, helping them achieve financial independence.

  • Scholarships & Educational Support:
MEF offers scholarships and financial aid to disadvantaged students, ensuring that economic challenges do not become a barrier to education. We prioritize students from marginalized communities and those affected by mental health issues.

  • Community Learning Hubs:
To foster lifelong learning, we establish safe spaces where individuals can access mentorship, counseling, and skills training. These hubs provide free educational resources, peer support, and guidance for students and community members.
